New York Apartment by Studio Ma

I really like the way the material on the floor is brought up the wall and across the ceiling. To prevent this from being to monotinist the coves are introduced for display and contrast. The one behind the couch becoming part of the ceiling really is what makes this work.

Ginkgo Lounge in Portimao, Portugal

The simple forms and clean lines of a lounge in Portiamo, Portugal. The separation between inside and outside is a sliding glass door system that makes a minimal distinction at the transition point. The use of lighting is also very nice in that at the interior there is plenty of light yet no imposing light fixtures.
